What makes the Geoffrey System unique?

• Modular Design - The Geoffrey system is based on two devices, an intelligent Reader Controller (RCNX), and a Reader Interface (RINX). Reader Controllers are available in 2, 8 and 16 reader capacities.
  
  Reader Interfaces read encoded card numbers or biometric data from almost all readers and send it to the RCNX. This means Geoffrey can interface with any kind of card reader, and can easily be used to replace existing systems by other manufacturers.
  
• Current Technology - Geoffrey can run as a stand-alone Windows 2000 or NT based application or as a LAN / WAN based Windows 2000 or NT multi-user system with dozens of terminals.
  
  RCNX Reader Controllers can communicate via RS232, RS485, Dial-up, or occupy a static IP or LAN address with a fall-back to the dial network, saving expensive wiring costs.
